Abstract
Breathing (inhalation and exhalation) is very important in wind instruments and this issue will be different in each type of instrument due to the type of blowing and the way of sound production. One of the most important techniques of playing a wind instrument is mastering breathing, for a brilliant sound from the instrument and stability of voice and tune. Breathing correctly is a skill that a musician has acquired over many years and requires a lot of practice. The first step towards the success of a wind instrument player is to learn how to control the flow of air during inhalation and exhalation, and develop its quality, volume and strength. This approach is very necessary for both wind instrument players and singers.
The purpose of this article is to provide methods to improve the sound of wind structures and improve the quality level of students' playing by using the correct way of breathing and using the respiratory organ while playing. This promotional scientific research examines the principles of breathing techniques with the library method by analyzing the materials that are currently available. In this initial article, the function of the respiratory system in playing wind instruments is explained, and then exercises to improve and improve the sound quality and various techniques are presented.
